This tradition was continued from 1958 by the state-owned company Technometra.<\/p>\n<p>A restructuring process in 1994 resulted in the establishment of the joint-stock company AXL, akciov\u00e1 spole\u010dnost, which benefited from long-term experience in the development, design and manufacture of automotive and aircraft equipment and hydraulic devices.<\/p>\n<p>The modern history of the company started in autumn 2010, when CHARV\u00c1T Group s.r.o. acquired a majority share in AXL, akciov\u00e1 spole\u010dnost.<\/p>\n<p>On 7 June 2012, the company was renamed CHARV\u00c1T AXL, a.s. and joined the CHARV\u00c1T Group. As a result of this change the company\u00b4s business activities intensified.<\/p>\n<p>The CHARV\u00c1T Group gradually developed into a significant manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and assemblies, with the capacity to offer a complete hydraulic range.<\/p>\n<h3>Main Company Activities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Hydraulic cylinders<\/li>\n<li>Aircraft production<\/li>\n<li>Hydraulic servo steering<\/li>\n<li>Metal heat treatment<\/li>\n<li>Surface treatment by electroplating<\/li>\n<li>Sale of chrome-plated piston rods and precision tubes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Other Services<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Measurement by three-coordinate measuring devices<\/li>\n<li>Calibration of conventional lenght gauges and manometers<\/li>\n<li>Non-destructive analysis of material chemical composition &#8211; quality tests<\/li>\n<li>Cylinder washing to required cleanliness levels<\/li>\n<li>Heat treatment testing &#8211; Hardness test, Tensile test (strength limit, yield point, elongation, reduction), Impact bending test (impact value), Metallographic analysis of steel and alloy structures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The history of machine engineering in Semily dates back to 1945.
